The Brisbane Bush Wackers and Houston Sting brought some excitement to Baylor Ballpark.

Houston starter Maurice Hesmondhalgh pitched effectively against the Brisbane Bush Wackers at Baylor Ballpark. The left-hander led his team to a 6-2 win. The winning pitcher was Hesmondhalgh, now 13-2. He tossed 5 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 7.

Troy Roberts made an early impact for Houston when he stroked his 23rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which came with two out in the top of the second, put the Sting on top, 4-1.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Houston manager Robby Tate.
