|
Bel Air left-hander Bryce Miles pitched his team to victory over the Kansas City Blue Spaders at The Whig Stadium. The final score was 6-5. Miles, now 15-2, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 8, walking 1, and allowing 3 earned runs. Norihisa Sakai earned the save, his 16th.
Francisco Germán had a nice at-bat for the Princes with one out in the top of the first. With the bases loaded, the right fielder hit a 2-run double, which would prove important in the Bel Air win.
"We're playing like gangbusters right now," said Germán.
The losses continue to pile up for Kansas City, which has now fallen 9 times in a row.
