Duke City Danger starter Hayden Capel was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Las Vegas Gamblers, 6-3. Duke City reliever Leonardo Reynoso picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-0. Pedro Medina was collared with the loss. The Danger raised their record to 26-24.

Cristo Morán had the most critical at-bat for Duke City. With one in the top of the 15th inning, Morán hit a 1-2 fastball from Pedro Medina for a run-scoring single. It put Duke City in front, 4-3.

"Hayden's tempo and rhythm were good," said Duke City Danger manager Jorge Morales. "He was the key to us winning."
