Capitals Roll to 8-1 Win Over Hipsters
|
The Springfield Capitals downed the Austin Hipsters, 8-1, at Prairie Field. Nicolas Léger led the way, going 2-for-3 for Springfield. Lex Herrewijn notched his 2nd save in 3 chances. The current losing streak for Austin has reached 4 games.
Léger had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the first, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Capitals went on to win.
