Rothwell Delivers Walk-Off Win for Sting
The Houston Sting downed the Whitewater Eagles, 4-3, at Woodland Park. Yoshihiro Takahashi led the way, going 2-for-4 for Houston. Houston reliever Juan Carlos Baraja was the winner. His record is now 4-6. Tim Parks took the loss. Houston now owns a record of 74-66.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 3-3, shortstop Jake Rothwell won it for Houston. With the bases loaded, Rothwell hit a 2-2 fastball from Yasukatsu Yonemura for a run-scoring single, giving his team a 4-3 win.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Houston manager Robby Tate.
