Westside Wins, Román goes 3-for-4
|
The Westside Road Warriors coasted to a win over the Houston Sting, 10-3. Carlos Román had a good day at the plate for Westside. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Daryl Walder, the winner, improved to 16-3. He held the Sting to 2 runs on 5 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 9 and walking 1. The Road Warriors improved to a lofty 107-29.
Román had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Road Warriors went on to win.
