Hornets Pin 4-2 Loss on Dancin' Outlaws
|
Bethesda Hornets starter Tetsuzan Ono was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws, 4-2. Ono, now 7-12, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing 1 earned run. Bethesda is 6th in the August Herrman League Mr. Met Division with a record of 52-86.
Tied up with the Dancin' Outlaws in the bottom of the fourth, the Hornets got a boost from third baseman Douglas D'Eath. With runners on 1st and 2nd, D'Eath saw a 1-2 fastball from Iestyn Stanbridge and hit a run-scoring double to break the stalemate and put Bethesda on top, 2-1.
"We did a lot of things right," said Ono.
