Héctor Garza knocked in all 5 runs for the Beach City Seals, helping them beat the Stroudsburg Shade, 5-2. The Seals improve their record to 53-82 with the win over Stroudsburg.
Hilario Martínez was one of the major contributors to the win for Beach City. The light-hitting shortstop stroked a single to right-center in the top of the sixth inning. For the day, he went 2-3 with a double.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Garza said after the game.
