The Palm Beach Bums and Springfield Capitals completed their game despite the rain.

Palm Beach rode a decent outing from starter Leonardo Bazaidua to victory over the Springfield Capitals at Prairie Field. The final score was 6-5. Palm Beach reliever Vianney Vautier was the winner. His record is now 4-1. Tom Pick took the loss. John Freemann was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 10 of 11 save opportunities.

This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the tenth, Luis Morales hit a run-scoring single. The Bums took the lead, 6-5.
