Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at Baylor Ballpark.

The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws defeated the Brisbane Bush Wackers, 6-5, in 12 innings. Nori Matsubara led the way, going 3-for-4 for West Virginia. The winner was West Virginia reliever Cyprien Bataille, now 1-3. The loser was Jorge Rivera.

Lubos Hlina's hit in the top of the 12th was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a fastball from Jorge Rivera for a run-scoring single. It put West Virginia in front, 6-5.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Brisbane manager Pete Barrett.

West Virginia bumps their record to 74-54 with the win.
