Tetsuzan Ono pitched a good game, but his team, the Bethesda Hornets, still dropped a 4-1 decision to the Palm Beach Bums at Hornets Field. Palm Beach is in last place in the August Herrman League Phillie Phanatic Division with a record of 28-95.
One of the key players for the Bums was center fielder Xing-hua Chiu, who drilled a triple in the top of the fourth inning. For the game, Chiu was 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 singles. He scored 2 times.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Palm Beach manager Francis Baker.
