Nobutsugu Nakamura pitched well, but the Austin Hipsters still lost the game, falling 4-0 to the Brisbane Bush Wackers at Hipster Grounds. Brisbane reliever Gah-fat Xi was the winner. His record is now 3-6. Nobutsugu Nakamura took the loss. The Bush Wackers improve their record to 74-49 with the win over Austin.
Doing his part for Brisbane was designated hitter Josh Bowmer, who stroked a double in the top of the fourth. For the game, Bowmer went 1-3 with a double, a walk, and was hit by a pitch.
"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Chance Jackson.
