Sasaki Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
Springfield third baseman Takehide Sasaki had a day to remember today, 5-for-6 against the Kansas City Blue Spaders at The Whig Stadium as the Capitals picked up a 9-6 victory.

"He was patient up there today," Springfield skipper Anthony Mays told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Sasaki has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."

Takehide Sasaki doubled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, doubled in the 10th and singled in the 12th.

Thus far this year Sasaki is hitting .280 with 2 home runs, 30 RBIs and 29 runs scored.
