The Dallas Texans thrashed the Chicago Hitmen, 16-2, at Metroplex Park. Toby Chave was one of the batting leaders. He went 2-5 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 3 for Dallas. The Texans go to 24-25, putting them 4th in the Roberto Clemente League Christian Latulippe Division.

With Dallas leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Chave hit a fastball from Paul Woodrow for a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Texans ahead, 4-0.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Chave.
