Houston beat Palm Beach on the strength of starter George Bedford's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 5-2 win. Juan Carlos Baraja, credited with the save, is now 12 for 13 in save opportunities. Houston is now 66-56, while Palm Beach is 27-93.
