Dancin' Outlaws Take 11-1 Pounding
A 3-RBI performance from right fielder Hilario Martínez led the Beach City Seals to a 11-1 win over the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws. Masanobu Nishimura, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.2 innings. The save was credited to Eisaku Yoshioka, his 2nd.

Had Ricardo Mendoza not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 1st, Mendoza hit a 2-run home run. That made the score 3-1, in favor of the Seals.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Beach City Seals manager Nobuharu Chikafuji. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."

With the win, Beach City has a record of 47-76. West Virginia falls to 70-52.
