Northeast Dominant in Bush Wackers Victory
|
In a low-scoring game between the Brisbane Bush Wackers and the Springfield Capitals, pitcher Dan Northeast was masterful on the mound. The Brisbane right-hander was named the player of the game in Brisbane's 3-0 win. Manuel Martínez recorded his 12th save for Brisbane. The Bush Wackers go to 72-48, putting them first in the August Herrman League Phillie Phanatic Division.
Northeast gave Brisbane a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 7.1 innings.
