The Westside Road Warriors trumped the Bel Air Princes, 7-1, at Road Warriors Field. Westside shortstop Dale Miller was named player of the game for his performance. He went 3 for 4 with 3 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Jay Retter picked up the win, improving his season record to 13-3. He struck out 8 in 5.1 innings. The Road Warriors improved to a lofty 94-26.
Blair Uige aided the Westside cause with a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the third. For the game, the center fielder went 2-4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs.
In comments to the Westside Herald, Miller insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
