With shortstop Toshimichi Kikuchi leading the charge, the Bel Air Princes defeated the Houston Sting, 5-3, at Philip Banks Field. Kikuchi, who is tied for 7th in the AHL in triples with 4, was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Takuya Masuda Jr., credited with the win, is now 4-0. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 1.2 innings. The Princes improved to a lofty 84-33.

In the first inning, Kikuchi had a 2-run home run for Bel Air. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Princes on top, 2-0.

"I like winning," Kikuchi told the Bel Air Bulletin. "I may joke around, but when it comes down to it, winning is the most important thing."
