Bel Air got a strong outing from Orlando Núñez as the Princes defeated the Houston Sting, 5-2, at Philip Banks Field. The winning pitcher was Núñez, now 13-2. He tossed 6 innings of 1-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 8. The save went to Norihisa Sakai, his 10th this season.
Also making an impact was first baseman José Tobías, who drilled a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth inning for the Princes. For the game, Tobías was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"I found a nice groove out there," said Núñez.
