Seals Topple Capitals as Keough Shines
|
A 6-RBI performance from first baseman Walt Keough, who is tied for 3rd in the AHL in home runs with 15, led the Beach City Seals to a 9-0 win over the Springfield Capitals. The Seals saw their record improve to 42-73.
With the game tied, 0-0, in the bottom of the third, Keough had a key at-bat for Beach City. With the bases loaded, Keough, who leads the AHL in RBI with 68, hit a grand slam home run off Lex Herrewijn, making the score 4-0, Seals.
Keough called the triumph "a good team win."
