Bums Suffer 6-4 Loss to Shade
|
The Stroudsburg Shade knocked off the Palm Beach Bums, 6-4, at Tim Raines Stadium. Louis Lebon, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Stroudsburg won. The center fielder went 2-4 with a triple. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The save went to Martín Pérez, his 17th this season. The Shade now own a record of 45-69.
Lebon contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped Stroudsburg get the win.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Lebon said.
