The rain came, as predicted, but the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws and Bel Air Princes were able to complete their ballgame.

The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws beat the Bel Air Princes, 7-2, at Penlee Park. West Virginia first baseman Yasuhiro Nishimura earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Pablo Gudino, who went 5.1 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 1. His record now stands at 6-5.

Nishimura contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the third. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single. It was one at-bat among others that helped West Virginia get the win.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said West Virginia manager Andy Franklin.
