The Bethesda Hornets got a stellar effort from pitcher John Curnew, helping Bethesda score a 6-2 win over the visiting Stroudsburg Shade. Today's win puts Bethesda at 44-65, while Stroudsburg falls to 42-68.

Suezo Ine helped out the Bethesda cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the first baseman was 2-4 with 2 singles.
