In a tight battle between the Stroudsburg Shade and the Bethesda Hornets, pitcher Kyung-hwan Ho was in the zone. The Stroudsburg right-hander was named the player of the game in Stroudsburg's 3-0 win. Martín Pérez earned the save for Stroudsburg, his 16th. The Shade' win now puts them at 42-67.
The Shade benefited from a costly error in the top of the sixth. With Kiyoshi Shinohara at bat and Stroudsburg leading 1-0, the Bethesda miscue allowed Stroudsburg to plate 1 and take the lead, 2-0.
"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Francisco Solano.
