Bush Wackers Suffer 3-1 Setback
In a low-scoring affair between the Kansas City Blue Spaders and the Brisbane Bush Wackers, pitcher Javier Trujillo was the difference between victory and defeat. The Kansas City right-hander earned player of the game honors in the 3-1 Blue Spaders win. Reliever Stu Glover picked up the win. His record improves to 4-7. Ronnie Cox took the loss. Carlos Solís picked up the save, his 1st.

Trujillo contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the fourth. With the bases empty, he hit a triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped Kansas City get the win.

"Anyone who says he's not out there thinking about personal accomplishments is not telling the truth," Trujillo said later.

With the win, Kansas City has a record of 35-70. Brisbane falls to 61-44.
