The Bel Air Princes used an offensive barrage to beat the Brisbane Bush Wackers, 11-2, at Philip Banks Field. Clarence Anderson led the way, going 2-for-4 for Bel Air. Orlando Núñez was the winner. Over 6 innings, he allowed 1 run on 4 hits, with no walks and 7 strikeouts. Randy Owry picked up the save for Bel Air, his 3rd of the year.
Anderson had a consequential at-bat in the bottom of the first for the Princes. Coming up with runners on 1st and 3rd and Bel Air trailing 1-0, he hit a 3-run home run.
Brisbane manager Pete Barrett called the blowout loss "just something that happens."
The Princes have an impressive 79-26 record.
