The Kansas City Blue Spaders topped the Beach City Seals, 8-3, with youngster Jorge Hernández playing a key role. Hernández went 2-2 with 2 singles, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Blue Spaders in the win. "I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Dronfield told a Kansas City Herald reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
