Though he had a great game, Pablo Bermúdez could not single-handedly produce a win for Brisbane. Whitewater won the game, 4-2. Bermúdez was named the player of the game. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Whitewater reliever Jim Wilson got the win, raising his record to 1-2. Subaru Suzuki was tagged with the loss. Tim Parks finished to wrap up his 9th save.

Also having an impact was second baseman Tae-kwon Hwang, who stroked a double in the bottom of the first for Whitewater. For the game, Hwang went 1-3.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Whitewater manager Michel Hérault.

The Eagles, at 46-49, sit in 4th place in the August Herrman League Phillie Phanatic Division.
