Capitals Rally to Eke Out Win
The Springfield Capitals wiggled past the Palm Beach Bums, 7-6, at Envoys Ballpark. Springfield pitcher Carlos Moreno earned player of the game honors. Bill Poulin earned the save for Springfield, his 1st of the year. The Capitals own a robust 63-32 mark.

Chet Perkins was a key contributor to the win for the Capitals. In the top of the tenth with one out, the light-hitting center fielder stroked a single to center. He was 1-1.

"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Moreno.
