Eric Weatherdon left his imprint on the 8-5 Beach City win against the Stroudsburg Shade. Weatherdon was 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk. Beach City reliever Hayden Nickem picked up the win, upping his record to 8-2. Gustavo Asconcio shouldered the loss. With the win over Stroudsburg, the Seals improved to 36-59.
Beach City took control in the bottom of the seventh. With two out and the bases loaded, Nick Davis hit a 2-run double to make it 7-5, Seals.
"I know we have our doubters," said Stroudsburg manager Raúl Pérez. "But I still have high hopes for this team."
