Victory Over Hornets Takes Springfield to 62-31
The Springfield Capitals turned back the Bethesda Hornets, 6-5, at Prairie Field. Takehide Sasaki was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 1-2 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Springfield has an impressive 62-31 record.

Sasaki contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a sacrifice fly. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Springfield get the win.

"Winning is the only thing that really matters," Sasaki told the Springfield Today. "If you can win without even breaking a sweat, more power to you."
