Kogawa Delivers Walk-Off Win for Codebreakers
Columbus first baseman Tokutomi Kogawa was a significant contributor in his team's 10-8 triumph over the New York Mafia. He went 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for Columbus. Reliever Artie Ehlers picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Kunihiko Mizuno took the loss. The Codebreakers have an impressive 27-17 record.

Kogawa had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the 12th. On a first pitch fastball from Kunihiko Mizuno, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Codebreakers a 10-8 lead. It was the 8th home run of the year for Kogawa.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Kogawa. "I like it."
