Hipsters Continue Skid Thanks to Lewis, Shade
|
A nice crowd turned out to see the Stroudsburg Shade and Austin Hipsters clash at Hipster Grounds.
The Stroudsburg Shade topped the Austin Hipsters, 5-0, in August Herrman League action at Hipster Grounds. The player of the game was Stroudsburg third baseman Ryan Lewis. The Austin losing streak has now reached 5 games.
Lewis had a key at-bat for Stroudsburg early in the game. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and gave Stroudsburg an early 1-0 lead.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Lewis said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
