The Bethesda Hornets stymied the Houston Sting, 5-2, at Hornets Field. Nobuhito Kouno, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He went 3-4 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2 times for Bethesda. The 6th-place Hornets improved to 34-47.
