The Beach City Seals coasted to a win over the Austin Hipsters, 10-2. Yin-fat Deng had a good day at the plate for Beach City. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win was credited to Ben Jose in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Nobutsugu Nakamura took the loss. The Seals, at 34-47, have now won 4 straight.
Deng contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Beach City get the win.
