Beach City rode a fine outing from starter Edwin Crespin to victory over the Austin Hipsters at Silvery Lane Field. The final score was 5-2. The Seals go to 32-47, putting them 5th in the August Herrman League Phillie Phanatic Division.
Going deep for Beach City was Walt Keough. The third baseman had a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first for the Seals. It put his team ahead, 2-0, and sent them on to victory. For the game, Keough was 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
