Hornets Squelch Kansas City Offense in Shutout Win
Bethesda got a first-rate effort from pitcher John Tracy, who frustrated Kansas City hitters en route to a 3-0 Hornets triumph at The Whig Stadium. The winning pitcher was Tracy, now 1-0. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 4. Kwan-cheol Hwang earned the save, his 3rd.

In the top of the third, Dylan Brisley hit a 2-run double for Bethesda. The 10th double of the season for the Bethesda second baseman put the Hornets on top, 2-0.

"John's tempo and rhythm were good," said Bethesda Hornets manager Francisco Solano. "He was the key to us winning."

The losses continue to add up for Kansas City, which has now fallen 10 times in a row.
