Princes Win Again, Streak Now at 11
|
Another day, another victory for the red-hot Bel Air Princes.
The Bel Air Princes topped the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws, 9-5, with center fielder Jorge Jiménez playing a big role. Jiménez went 2-5 with a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Princes in the win. Bryce Miles picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 4 earned runs on 7 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 8. On the season, he is now 6-1.
Jiménez hit a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the fourth to help the Bel Air cause. The double, which was hit off Pablo Gudino, allowed Bel Air to take a 5-2 lead.
"We'll enjoy this hot streak as long as it lasts," said Jiménez.
The winning continues for Bel Air, with the latest making it 11 straight.
