Princes Reel Off Another Win
|
Bel Air Princes starter Guo Sang turned in an exceptional performance against the Kansas City Blue Spaders at The Whig Stadium, resulting in a Bel Air win, 5-2. The winning pitcher was Sang, now 11-3. He tossed 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 10. The second-place Princes now have a 7-game winning streak.
Kanko Yamaguchi played a key role in the win for the Princes. The catcher punched a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning. For the game, Yamaguchi went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs.
"Some of the guys in here work pretty hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Yamaguchi told the Bel Air Bulletin.
