Victory Pushes Road Warriors Record to 54-13
|
In a well-pitched game between the Westside Road Warriors and the Sioux City Knights, pitcher Hyun-tae Hwan was superb. The Westside left-hander was named the player of the game in Westside's 3-1 win. Westside has now won 4 games in a row.
Kenko Hori brought the hometown crowd to its feet with one out in the bottom of the third. That's when the 20-year old third baseman belted a solo home run. With the round-tripper, the Road Warriors took the lead, 1-0.
"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Westside manager Tim Duncan.
