Seals Drop Another One
|
The Bethesda Hornets got a stellar performance from pitcher John Curnew, who handcuffed the Beach City offense en route to a 4-2 win at Hornets Field. The 6th-place Seals have dropped 5 straight games.
The Bethesda triumph was a team effort. Not least among the contributors was José García. In the bottom of the third, the Bethesda shortstop hit a bases-clearing triple. It staked his team to a 3-0 lead.
"We're scuffling right now," said losing manager Nobuharu Chikafuji.
