Bush Wackers Hang 6-2 Loss on Blue Spaders

With left fielder Emílio Días leading the charge, the Brisbane Bush Wackers defeated the Kansas City Blue Spaders, 6-2, at The Whig Stadium. Días went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Dan Northeast got the win, improving to 5-3. He held the Blue Spaders to 2 runs on 4 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 3. The win puts the Bush Wackers at 39-29, while the Blue Spaders drop to 20-48.
Pablo Bermúdez, who is tied for 6th in the AHL in bases on balls with 45, helped out the Brisbane cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the catcher drew 2 walks.
"We looked pretty good up and down," said Brisbane manager Pete Barrett.
