Shade Get Past Houston for 7-6 Win
In a tight contest at Woodland Park, the Stroudsburg Shade edged the Houston Sting by the score of 7-6. Stroudsburg right fielder Arthur López, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. The win was Gustavo Asconcio's in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Yosuke Takuda took the loss for Houston. The save went to Martín Pérez, his 12th this season.

López turned the game around in the top of the eighth. That's when the Stroudsburg right fielder dialed up a grand slam home run. Just like that, Stroudsburg's 6-3 deficit turned into a 7-6 lead.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Stroudsburg Shade manager Raúl Pérez. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."

The 5th-place Shade now have a win-loss record of 26-43.
