The exploits of third baseman Joey Milledge helped the Palm Beach Bums defeat the Westside Road Warriors, 4-1. Milledge was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Vianney Vautier closed the game out for Palm Beach, earning his 3rd save. The last-place Bums are now 15-49, the Road Warriors 50-13.

With Palm Beach leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Milledge hit a fastball from Daryl Walder for a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Bums ahead, 4-1.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Milledge told the Palm Beach Herald. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
