Knights Fall to .500 After Loss to Dancin' Outlaws
|
The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws faced a tough opponent in Sioux City pitcher Pedre Pedrogo, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Knights Field by a final score of 4-1. Pedrogo went 5 innings and allowed no earned runs. Bernardino Pacheco earned the save for West Virginia, his 5th of the year. The first-place Dancin' Outlaws have won 5 in a row.
Augusto Majana gave West Virginia a good at-bat in the top of the seventh inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single to help send West Virginia to the win.
"We put together a nice win," Majana said.
