Hipsters Pull Back to Even with 2-1 Victory
In a tight game between the Austin Hipsters and the Springfield Capitals, pitcher Mario Vargas was terrific on the mound. The Austin left-hander was named the player of the game in Austin's 2-1 win. Springfield has now lost 4 straight.

Ogai Sakei was a key contributor to the win for the Hipsters. In the top of the third with two out, the light-hitting designated hitter stroked a home run to right-center. He was 2-4 with a home run.

"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Sakei.
