Guzmán, Bush Wackers Clobber Shade

The Brisbane Bush Wackers used an offensive barrage to beat the Stroudsburg Shade, 11-0, at Baylor Ballpark. Jesús Guzmán led the way, going 4-for-5 for Brisbane. Brisbane is now 35-26, while Stroudsburg is 22-40.
Tied up with the Shade in the bottom of the fourth, the Bush Wackers got a boost from designated hitter Gerald Wilson. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Wilson saw a first pitch fastball from David Tredgett and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Brisbane on top, 1-0.
"We'll keep our chins up and get ready for the next game," said losing manager Raúl Pérez.
