Majana Lifts Dancin' Outlaws to 10-4 Win
The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws defeated the Palm Beach Bums, 10-4, at Penlee Park. West Virginia designated hitter Augusto Majana was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 3-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Reliever William Whitley picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. William Holtby took the loss. The slumping Bums have dropped 7 in a row.

Green Bay, Wisconsin-born Lubos Hlina came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the second, with the bases loaded and the Dancin' Outlaws trailing 2-1, he hit a bases-clearing double to right-center to put West Virginia on top.

"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Francis Baker. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
