Hilton Hits 2 home runs in Road Warriors Win
|
Craig Hilton was instrumental in his team's 5-2 triumph over the Houston Sting. The first baseman was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Westside Road Warriors. Allen Blair closed the door for Westside, picking up his 21st save of the year. The Road Warriors boast a remarkable 46-11 record.
The Road Warriors got a big at-bat from designated hitter Lyle Keller. For the game, Keller went 3-4 with 3 singles. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 42nd hit of the season gave Westside a 3-2 lead.
